The Federal high Court in Abuja will decide on Thursday if the convener of #RevolutionNow protests, Omoyele Sowore should be detained for 90 days.
This follows the application filed by the Department of State Security Service seeking an order to detain the AAC Presidential candidate pending the conclusion of its investigation.
Mr Sowore who is also the publisher of Sahara Reporters was arrested by operatives of the DSS on account of the #RevolutionNow protest which he had spearheaded.
The exparte motion by the DSS is seeking the order of the court to detain Mr Sowore beyond the 48 hours of his arrest required by law.
