No fewer than 19 persons have been confirmed dead and 7 others injured in an auto crash at about 18:10 hours on Sunday at Dinyar Madiga in Takai Local government area of Kano state.
Kano State Federal Road Safety Corps Commander, Zubair Mato confirms occurence of the incidence to TVC News. Out of the 19 dead persons, 14 are males, 3 females and 2 male children.
According to the FRSC boss, 4 vehicles with 26 passengers were involved in the accident due to over speeding and dodging of potholes on the highway.
The victims have since been rushed to Takai General Hospital and are receiving treatment.
