As the thirty-eight members of Islamic Movement of Nigeria faced the law over the invasion of the National Assembly on Tuesday, some of their colleagues took to the streets of Abuja to continue demanding for the release of their leader Ibrahim El- zakzaky.
The protest soon turned violent with tear gas and bullets fired.
The Shiites have embarked on a series of protests many of which have turned violent since their leader El zakzaky was detained in December 2015.
Members of the Shiite movement also protested in Lagos but it was peaceful.
