Nigeria’s fastest man this year in the sprints, Divine Oduduru will begin his professional career on Friday in the IAAF Diamond League in Monaco France.
Sports wear manufacturer PUMA announced it has signed Divine who is the United States NCAA Champion ahead of his debut in Monaco.
The sprinter makes his debut in the professional circuit in Europe as some foreign based Nigerian athletes return home ahead of the national selection trials for the 12th All africa Games
The Athletics Federation of Nigeria, AFN, has already opened camping for the African Games with 42 home based athletes invited for trials in Kaduna.
The invited athletes include 21 males and 21 females runners and jumpers and throwers.
