Swedish Prosecutors have reopened investigations into rape allegations against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
He was accused of sexual assault and rape by two women in Sweden after visiting the country in August 2010.
The Australian whistle blower is currently in prison in Britain after his seven-year refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy in London was revoked, enabling police to arrest him.
Mr Assange, denies the allegations, fighting through the British courts to get the extradition order and the preliminary investigation dropped.
His lawyers said he feared that Swedish authorities could hand him over to the United States to face prosecution over a 2010 release of classified military and diplomatic materials.
