The Nigeria’s Senate has just passed the much-talked about Police Reform Bill, 2019 during Wednesday plenary.
The bill seeks the establishment of a service-oriented and modern @PoliceNG that will meet globally acceptable policing standards in a democratic setting.
It will now be transmitted to the House of Representative for concurrence.
Following the adoption of the recommendations of the Technical Committee on ‘Declined Assents to Bills by Mr. President’, the Senate also once again, passed the Petroleum Industry Governance Bill.
