Three persons have been killed in a fresh attack on Kikan village in Numan local government area of Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria.
A community leader, John Ngamsa, says Fulani militia came in to the area riding on chains of motorbikes to perpetrate the attack.
He explained that this fresh attack was carried out despite the presence of more than three hundred policemen deployed to the area by the Inspector General of Police to prevent such attacks.
He however lamented that a squadron of the Nigerian Airforce were hovering over the area, yet the perpetrators were able to penetrate.
According to him livestock and other valuables good were looted by the Fulani militia.
