The Nigerian army has announced that a military joint patrol tagged “Harbin Kunama Two” would soon commence in Zamfara state to clean out the area of insurgents.
Minister of Defence, Dan-Ali who revealed this in Gusau, said that just like they have Operation Awatse in the South-West, and Operation Crocodile Smile II in the South South, Harbin Kunama II would kick off in the state in December.
Harbin Kunama I was launched by President Muhammadu Buhari in July, 2016 during which scores of armed bandits were killed.
