Students in Barcelona trooped out in protests this Monday against police officers who tried to forcibly disrupt the Catalan referendum on independence.
Students chanted slogans in support of the referendum and against Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy while waving the Catalan flag.
Some protesters mocked the Spanish National Police chanting slogans from cartoon series, while some other groups of protesters gathered outside the Spanish National Police’s headquarters in Catalonia chanting slogans calling for Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy’s resignation.
