The release of 82 Chibok girls by the dreaded Boko haram late on Saturday night has elicited mixed reactions in the minds of residents of Maiduguri.
TVC NEWS Kolomi Dala who went round the city reports that the release of 82 of the Chibok schoolgirls who were seized three years ago while writing their final papers generated mixed reactions on Sunday.
Many see it as a great achievement by the current administration and a feat which ought to have been achieved long before now.

The release of the 82 girls has brought a sense of joy and hope to Maiduguri residents that the Buhari regime is doing its best and is up to the task of securing the release of the remaining chibok school girls who have been in captivity since 2014.
