Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen is relieved to make his first appearance for Wolfsburg in their 1-1 draw against Borussia Moenchengladbach on Saturday.
The former Golden Eaglets star came off the bench to replace Daniel Didavi 14 minutes into the second half of the encounter at Volkswagen Arena.
Osimhen signed a three-year contract with Andries Jonker’s side in January, but was yet to make his debut because of reoccuring injuries.
The striker said he is also looking forward to his debut for the Super Eagles when Nigeria take on Corsica in a friendly on May 26.
