For the first time in seven years Nigerian sprinter Blessing Okagbare will be missing at the 43rd Prefontaine Classics IAAF Diamond League meeting in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
Okagbare is not in the provisional list of athletes released by the organisers for the 100m event.
The list boasts some world-class stars including reigning World and Olympic 100m and 200m champion Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson.

Okagbare is also not in the list of athletes confirmed for the 200m and long jump events.
She made her debut at the Eugene meeting in 2010, running 11.03 seconds to place fifth in the 100m.
