IAAF World Relays: Blessing Okagbare flops in 4x200m

Team Nigeria’s 4x200m squad to the 2017 International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Relays failed to retain its title by finishing a distant fifth with a time of 1:33:08 sec.

The competition held from April 22 to April 23 at Nassau, Bahamas.

The squad comprised Blessing Okagbare, Dominique Duncan, Jennifer Madu, Mercy Ntia-Obong, Patience Okon-George and Praise Idamadudu.

It would be recalled that at the 2015 edition, the women’s 4x200m team which comprised of Okagbare, Duncan, Regina George and Christy Udoh won a gold medal with a time of 1:30:52 sec.
