Everton’s Lookman chooses England ahead of Nigeria

The youngster has pledged his international future to England.

The 19-year-old is eligible to play for England because he was born in London and also qualifies for Nigeria through his parents.

Lookman has played for the England Under-19 and Under-20, but Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr was hoping to persuade him to switch his international allegiance to the West African country.

But after holding talks with the English FA, Lookman has decided to continue playing for England.
