Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has been flown out of the country to seek medical care in Singapore.
This is coming days after the celebration of his 93rd birthday in the city of Bulawayo.
Mugabe’s spokesperson confirmed the report on Wednesday and added that the president is expected back in the country early next week.
President Mugabe usually travels to the southeastern Asia country to seek medical attention from what his aides have repeatedly said is eye cataract.
