Peace has returned to Molai General Area in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, after two suspected Female Suicide Bombers attempted to enter Maiduguri through Umarari.
They were sighted by the Civilian JTF on duty and did not respond to questions from afar.
After a number of attempts and questions, both were shot dead by Security personnel on duty in the area.
No other loss of life or injury was recorded. The police EOD team was mobilized to the scene to render the unexploded IED safe.

Molai is about 9kms to Maiduguri main town.
