Mimiko inaugurates two roads projects in Ilaje

Image result for Mimiko inaugurates two roads projects in IlajeOndo state governor Olusegun Mimiko says many road accidents can be avoided if motorists observe road signs and travel within speed limits.

Governor Mimiko stated this while inaugurating two major roads in Ilaje local government.

TVC News Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that the Igbokoda Ugbonla road project, as well as the Igbokoda township dual
carriageway, were conceived by the Mimiko led administration to ameliorate the suffering of motorists plying the roads, as well as boost socio-economic development of the area.

This prompted people of the area to trooped out in their numbers to receive governor mimiko and his entourage for inauguration of the roads, ?in appreciation of what they called landmark achievements in the area.

Addressing the gathering, governor Mimiko ?explained that, the project is one of the most significant achievements of his administration in the Southern Senatorial District of the state.

He noted that the initial surface-dressed road constructed by the previous government degenerated quickly, hence the need for total reconstruction.

The Governor also inaugurated the five kilometer Igbokoda township dual carriageway.

The Chairman of the Ondo state oil producing areas development Commission (OSOPADEC), Johnson Ogunyemi described the road projects as remarkable and unprecedented in the area.

The roads are some of the one hundred legacy projects set for inauguration by Governor Mimiko before the end of his administration in February 2017.
