The implementation of the Federal Government’s 500 billion naira Social Intervention Programmes for the unemployed, poor and vulnerable members of the society has received knocks from the Senate, due to what it terms a poor implementation strategy.
The Senators have now urged President Muhammadu Buhari to reorganize the beneficiary selection process of the programme to include manual registration and not just online registration.
