The 29.9 billion US dollars external borrowing as sent by the Federal Government to the National Assembly, may die a natural death following its failure to scale through the Senate.
This is the view expressed by House of Representatives’ Spokesman, Abdulrasaq Namdas, which he made known at an interactive meeting with National Assembly correspondents.
Reacting to why the Executive communication has yet to be considered, Namdas says it will amount to an exercise in futility since the Senate has thrown it out.

But he assures the Executive that it will be revisited when the need arises.
