NCS adopts new approach to check smuggling

Image result for Nigerian customsIn the face of the challenging economic situation in the country, the Oyo-Osun Command of the Nigeria Customs service has vowed to step up its operation by blocking all revenue leakages in order to collect maximum duty accruable to the Federal Government.

Area Controller for Oyo-Osun Command Tolutope Ogunkua gave this assurance in Ibadan during a display of seized vehicles and contraband goods.

The Customs boss reiterated the determination of the command to deal decisively with any act that could impede the success of the ongoing federal government drive towards revenue generation.

He however warned Nigerians not to patronize fraudsters who use various social media platforms to sell vehicles to unsuspecting buyers.
