Finance ministers of commonwealth countries have met at the ongoing IMF/Worldbank annual meetings.
Their interactions focused on enhancing commonwealth access to climate finance and touched on new financial instruments to assist countries in managing climatic shocks as well.
Nigeria’s finance minister Kemi Adeosun was part of the meeting.

The dialogue follows the commonwealth central bank governors’ meeting a day earlier.
The governors also touched on derisking and sharing of natural and regional policy responses and are expected to engage with the US treasury on the thrust of their discussions.
