A prominent group in the All Progressive Congress, All APC Women Support Groups (AAWSG), has described as remarkable, this year’s valentine day and Ash Wednesday celebrations.
The group in a statement titled “A Celebration of Love and Reflection: Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday”, said there’s a unique convergence as Valentine’s Day coincides with Ash Wednesday, a significant day for Christians marking the beginning of Lent -a period of reflection, repentance, and spiritual growths.
The APC women groups extolled the contributions of its Director General, Mrs. Bimbo Adedoyin Okpere and Dr. Folashade Olabanji Oba, its National Publicity Secretary, in upholding the progressive ideals in Nigeria.
