A crowd of enthusiastic supporters assembled at the Port Harcourt International Airport in Omagwa, Rivers State, to welcome Governor Siminalayi Fubara following his reinstatement.
Among those awaiting his arrival were members of the dissolved political group known as the Simplified Movement, including the ousted Mayor of Port Harcourt City, Ichemati Ezebunwo, widely known as Sugar Mayor.
Also present were members of Women Unite for SIM, a faith-based support group that has been vocal in its backing of the Governor.
The group gathered at the airport’s car park, joining others in anticipation of Fubara’s return.
