Nigerian Afrobeats singer Simi has announced the birth of her second child with her husband, Adekunle Gold.
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the singer disclosed that the baby was born on March 10, 2026, putting to rest earlier reports in January suggesting she had given birth to twins.
The couple, who got married in January 2019, had welcomed their first child, Adejare, on May 30, 2020.
Simi’s pregnancy had earlier been hinted at in Adekunle Gold’s December 2025 music video, “My Love Is The Same,” where she appeared with a visible baby bump.
Confirming the news, Simi described herself as a “proud mother of two” as she shared the update with her followers.
She wrote, “+1. 3.10.26 God bless my little family #mommyof2.”
