Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented new official vehicles to Level 17 officers in the Lagos State Public Service as part of efforts to strengthen service delivery and improve performance across government institutions.
The governor disclosed this in a statement, noting that the beneficiaries are directors who play a critical role in the operations of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
He said the gesture was a practical step aimed at supporting senior officials to carry out their responsibilities more effectively, emphasising the importance of equipping key personnel within the system.
Sanwo-Olu stressed that a motivated public service remains central to achieving good governance, adding that properly supported officers are more likely to take ownership of their duties and deliver results with greater commitment.

According to him, the initiative forms part of the state government’s broader strategy to enhance efficiency, accountability and overall performance in the public sector.
The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to raising standards across the system by investing in the welfare and capacity of public servants.
