Police authorities are set to investigate claims of impropriety against its operatives involved in the recent rerun parliamentary election in Rivers state.
Police Deputy Spokesman says a team to carry out the task has been set up.

Jimoh Moshood says the committee will also investigate the veracity or otherwise of a statement credited to the INEC chairman that 70 incidents derailed the rerun election.
The team led by a Deputy Commissioner of Police will also probe an audio clip purportedly containing the voice of the Rivers State Governor in which he allegedly threatened an INEC official to rig the election in favour of his party.
