About Thirty Thousand orphans have been screened for this years Ramadan and Sallah Welfare packages by the Zamfara State Government.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs at the disbursement and distribution of empowerment tools to some selected women and youths in Gusau.
The Programme is an annual event by the Jaiz Foundation to Support and Empower those in needs .

The free distribution comes at a time when many in the communities have been displaced and lost their livelihood to banditry.
