Image result for Presidential Poll: Russian opposition leader Navalny calls for boycottRussian Opposition leader Alexei Navalny wants Russians to boycott the upcoming presidential election, after the electoral commission voted to bar him from running.

The commission says a conviction, for which Navalny received a suspended sentence, meant he could not run for president in March.

Twelve members of the 13-member commission voted to bar Navalny.

Navalny has repeatedly described the conviction as politically-motivated.

He has been jailed three times this year and charged with breaking the law by organising public meetings and rallies.
