The Chief of Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, Mujahid Khan, has assured Nigeria of his country’s unrelenting support in the war against insurgency. He commended the crucial contributions made to the war against insurgency by the Nigerian Air Force, through its supply of air power.
Mujahid Khan made these remarks when he was received by the Nigerian Chief of Air Staff, Sodique Abubakar and his management team.
TVCNews Celestina Iria reports that it’s the first visit of the Pakistani Chief of Air Staff to the headquarters of the Nigerian Air Force.
On his arrival he was received by Nigerian Chief of The Air Staff. He was given a tour of the memorial Arcade in the Air force Headquarters,
which has on its wall, the names of fallen heroes who had paid to ultimate price to keep the nation safe. There after, both Air Chiefs had a meeting.
Air Chief Marshal, Mujahid Khan, commends the efforts of the Nigerian Air Force having been fully engaged over the years in tackling several forms of conflict that have arisen in both the Northern and the Southern parts of the country.
He says there is need to strengthen the relationship between both Air forces, assuring Nigeria of his country’s support.
The Nigerian Chief of The Air Staff on his part, says Pakistan has over the years been a good allies and appreciates the help the Pakistani Air force
The relationship between both Air force Chiefs will go a long way to boost the activities of the Nigerian air force.
