Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola has reechoed the need for citizens to be conscious of their obligations to the state for proper running of government.
Aregbesola was speaking at the get together organised to celebrate the Saturday editor of the Nigerian Tribune, Lasisis Olagunju who bagged PhD in political communication at the university of Ibadan.

Aregbesola said the basis of modern government is the civil responsibility of citizens to the state which was the order of the day in the 60s and 70s.
He called on the citizens to cultivate the habit of paying their taxes so that government could provide more dividends of Democracy for them.
