The Independent National Electoral Commission says the Governorship Election in Ondo State will hold on Saturday as scheduled, despite calls for postponement by some political parties.
INEC’s Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu said this at stated this at a Stakeholder’s Meeting on the election.

About twenty political parties and some groups have called for the postponement of the election, citing security challenges as one of the reasons for their call.
