The Kogi State Government says the remodelling of LGEA Demonstration Nursery and Primary School in Onyunkoko, Okene Local Government Area, reflects its commitment to improving learning conditions in public schools.

The State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo said the project aligns with the education development agenda of Usman Ododo, aimed at providing modern and conducive environments for pupils.

According to him, the upgrade is part of a broader effort by the administration to standardize infrastructure in public schools and restore confidence in the state’s education system.

Fanwo noted that several other schools across the state are also undergoing renovation as the government works to address years of neglect in the sector.

He added that the ongoing improvements complement policies such as free education in public schools and bursary support for tertiary students.

The Commissioner assured residents that the government will continue to invest in educational infrastructure to ensure pupils learn in safe and inspiring environments across the state.
