Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, have returned to Nigeria with their newborn son, Rakeem, in a homecoming filled with music, dance, and celebration.
The family’s arrival was marked by a vibrant event hosted by Iyabo Ojo, featuring traditional drummers, singing, and dancing.
Videos shared on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram page on Tuesday, captioned “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk,” captured Priscilla’s emotional reaction as she entered the festive atmosphere, while Juma Jux proudly carried baby Rakeem.
Entrepreneur and Priscilla’s godmother, Chioma Ikokwu (Chioma GoodHair), joined the celebration, commenting under the post, “My prince is here.” She also shared on her Instagram story that Priscilla had called her from the United States to share the news, saying, “Priscilla called me in America and said, ‘Godmama, I’m bringing your godson to you in Lagos,’ and I said yes!”

The homecoming follows a lavish 40-day celebration and naming ceremony for Rakeem held earlier this month in Tanzania.
Priscilla shared snippets of their journey from Tanzania to Nigeria on her Instagram story, expressing gratitude to her mother and godmother. “Rakeem is lucky. Thank you, Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair,” she wrote.
Baby Rakeem was welcomed into the world in Canada on August 24, 2025, after which Priscilla traveled to Tanzania, where Juma Jux organised a grand reception in their honour.
The Lagos celebration marked baby Rakeem’s first visit to Nigeria, a joyful occasion that brought together family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the newest member of the Ojo family.
