INEC: Abuja residents seek to to be captured in CVR exercise

Image result for CVR exercise in AbujaResidents of Abuja and its environs seeking to be captured in the ongoing voters registration exercise are lamenting loss of man-hours arising from the slow pace of the process.

To address the logistic challenge, they urge INEC to bring the exercise to polling units and wards.

TVC News Correspondent, Joke Adisa reports that it is a little over two weeks since the Continuous Voter Registration exercise kicked off, and would be voters are dissatisfied with the challenges that have been thrown up by the process.

Mike Audu and John Attah who have sought to be registered said they arrived the Karu office of INEC as early as five a.m and met more than a hundred persons already on the queue .

After many days of attempts, the would be voters, including a nursing mother and a physically challenged are lucky to be captured.

The Continuous Voter Registration exercise began on April the twenty seventh and is expected to wind down three months to the 2019 general election.
