Voting has ended, with delegates now waiting for counting and sorting to commence in the ongoing South East Delegate congress of the Peoples Democratic Party in Enugu.
Earlier before the voting process commenced, Governor of Enugu and leader of the party in South East admonished party members to be committed to the driving principles conceived by the party’s founding fathers.
He challenged them to be united and acknowleded the trying period would be over, if party discipline is observed at all tiers of leadership.
The outcome of the South East Zonal delegate Congress is expected to produce 21 new executive members who will pilot the affairs of the party in next four years in the South East Regional.
