Players of the Nigeria’s Under17 national team, the Golden Eaglets, will go through another round of MRI Testing to revalidate their true age before the team depart for the African U-17 Nations Cup scheduled for Morocco next month.

Team officials have confirmed that FIFA has directed the team who resumed camping in Abuja last week ahead of the championship, to go through the compulsory MRI scan.

According to the team’s media officer, players had COVID-19 tests before being allowed to enter the camp with the coach ruling out an invitation of new players into the team.”

The Golden Eaglets qualified for the African championship from the WAFU zone B championship after placing second behind Champions, Cote D’Ivoire.
