The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has ordered the immediate redeployment of SP Babale Galadima, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Gwarimpa Division, to the Command Headquarters for administrative disciplinary proceedings over alleged professional misconduct.

The move, announced on Saturday by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, follows complaints from members of the public and forms part of ongoing efforts to enforce discipline, accountability, and professionalism across the FCT Police Command.

“In the same vein, the CP has approved the posting of CSP Nasir Gusau as the new Divisional Police Officer of Gwarimpa Division with immediate effect,” the statement read.

CSP Gusau has been charged to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, respect human rights, maintain civility in public engagements, and fully align with the Command’s strategic operational objectives.
