The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has joined the Muslim Ummah in the celebration of the Eid-ul-Maulid, urging the embodiment of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), timeless virtues of peace, kindness and selflessness in daily activities.
The message was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, made available to TVC on Friday.
According to the statement, Fintiri reflected on the teachings of the Holy Prophet, praying celebration brings peace, happiness, and blessings on Nigerians.
The statement reads, “Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has extended his warmest felicitations to all Muslims in Adamawa State and beyond on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Maulud.
“The Governor expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah as they celebrate the momentous occasion, urging Muslims to uphold and embody the Prophet’s timeless virtues of peace, kindness, humility, and selflessness, especially in their daily interactions.
“May this celebration bring peace, happiness, and blessings to all. As we reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on tolerance, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence, let us strive to emulate his virtues and work towards a brighter future for our state and nation.”
Governor Fintiri urged all citizens of the state to keep faith with the new initiative of his administration aimed at making a positive difference in the lives of the people.

The statement also calls on Nigerians of all faiths to use the occasion to pray for peace, security, and stability in the country, while supporting the government’s drive for unity and development.
