The Tincan Island Customs Command has uncovered a twenty foot container of processed local Nigerian food.
The container was found to contain about 1,400 cartons of ready to eat jollof rice, porridge beans, egusi soup among others.
Handing over the consignment to officials of the National Food and Drugs Administration and Control for analysis, the Area Comptroller of the Command, Yusuf Bashar condemned the importation of Nigerian local food from India.
Whaaaaat! Processed foods? People are so desperate to make money. The importer must be fished out, this is desperation at its peak. The Nigerian Costoms & NAFDAC should please work hand in hand to do the necessary. We the masses of this great country Nigeria can only be saved by God.
