The federal high court in Abuja has nullified the election of Ifeanyi Ubah as the senator representing Anambra south.
Justice Bello Kawu ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to withdraw the certificate of return issued to him and to issue a fresh certificate to Obinna Uzoh, of the Peoples Democratic Party as the senator elect.
The court had in 2019 given the same pronouncement in the suit filed by Mr Uzoh on the grounds that Mr Ubah presented an alleged forged certificate from the National Examination Council to INEC.

But Mr Ubah approached the court to set aside the judgment, saying he was not given fair hearing.
