Senator  Buruji Kashamu has told the Federal High court in Abuja that the Inspector General of Police  and the Director General of DSS, are making moves to extradite him to the United States of America,  to face trial on drug related offences.

And Buruji is asking the court to stop them  from inviting or arresting him for anything.

The Senator representing Ogun East says the invitation sent to him in respect of a petition on an assassination attempt on the life of a House of Representatives member, Oladipupo Keshinton, was a ploy to get at him and transport him to America at the instance of the American government

Kashamu in an originating summon argued by his counsel, Raphael Oluyede urged Justice Nnamdi Dimgba to protect him from being forcefully ferried abroad by stopping the Security Agencies from inviting or arresting him.

He said that his fundamental right to liberty or freedom would be breached if Police and DSS are not refrained from curtailing his movement.

?While Opposing this claim by the  Senator,  the IGP  said that the applicant was being invited to make a statement after which a special investigation panel wpuld be set up to look into the allegation of
assassination attempt against senator Kashamu.

The Presiding judge, Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, subsequently fixed July the sixth, for Judgment.
