Armed robbers have killed two security guards employed to protect a filling station in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
One of the victims was identified as Israel, 45, while the other one was said to have been employed two days before the incident.
The robbers were said to have struck at the newly established filling station located at Customs junction along Ondo road on Saturday night.

The security guards were shot dead and it was not clear if the robbers made away with anything as at press time.
A supervisor in the station, Mr. Buhari Ashiru, said the victims were found at about 5.30am on Sunday when staff resumed duty.
