The brother of late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has publicly apologised to actress Iyabo Ojo following a controversy over claims that some celebrities failed to support his sister during her lifetime.
The apology took place during a memorial service held in honour of the late actress, where Allwell’s brother approached Iyabo Ojo and pleaded for forgiveness over comments he previously made in a viral video.
In the footage that circulated earlier, he had accused Iyabo Ojo and other industry figures of neglecting his sister, sparking widespread reactions on social media. However, at the memorial, he sought to make amends, stressing that his earlier remarks were not meant as an insult.

“Big mummy please don’t be offended, you can see that I didn’t abuse you in the viral video. Please I’m sorry.”

He prostrated while appealing to the actress, who responded by embracing him and accepting the apology.
“O ti lo (it’s a thing of the past) to God I have forgiven you.”
The controversy had begun after Allwell Ademola’s brother criticised several celebrities for allegedly failing to support the actress while she was alive.
In response, Iyabo Ojo had defended herself, stating that she had supported Ademola by featuring her in several of her movie projects without charging a fee.
