A Presidential candidate in the 2019 general election, Nicolas Felix has condemned President Buhari’s approach to the incessant attacks and killings in the northern part of the country.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen, the presidential hopeful said the continued killings and loss of lives across the northern states in particular and Nigeria in general, is a clear example of leadership failure.
The statement reads thus: “The North is bleeding… this is the hashtag of recent protests have been going on in the Northern part of Nigeria where on a daily basis, scores of innocent and helpless Nigerians are being killed by terrorists that the Buhari-led administration would rather call bandits.
“The killings have continued unabated and terrorists are taking over communities and even installing village heads.
In Niger and Sokoto states, the situation has deteriorated so much that citizens now pay taxes to terrorists to avoid attacks.
What more can signify the failure of government than this?
“It has become clear to Nigerians that the APC-led federal government has failed woefully and has no solution to the many problems bedevilling the country.
“Years of neglect, deprivation and lack of access to education has left the North decrepit, with a massive population of idle, hungry and angry youths who have become easy picking for terrorist organisations.
“Nigerians wailing from pangs of hunger as many families can longer afford even two square meals due to hyper inflation and high cost of food items.
“The political season is around the corner again and Nigerians deserve better than recycled old ruling class!
“Dr. Nicolas Felix is the credible candidate that will bring succour to Nigerians and provide solutions to the many problems ravaging the nation.
“Dr. Nicolas Felix is ready to address insecurity; under his administration, the life of a Nigerian will matter and worth more than gold.
He will make free education and affordable healthcare his priority.
When Dr. Nicolas Felix becomes President, children of politicians and government officials will never be flown abroad to attend IVY-LEAGUE SCHOOLS. The children of the poor will not be left to struggle with a ramshackle education sector, that has, for decades, been given no attention by the bourgeoisies.
