The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Mahmud Yakubu says he has conducted one hundred and sixty five elections so far with only one nullified by a court.
Yakubu disclosed this while defending the forty five billion naira budget proposal of the commission before the Senate Committee on INEC, chaired by Senator Ali Ndume.
The INEC chair says elections are to be conducted into one governorship position and two House of Representatives seats in 2017, based on vacancies arising from expiration of tenure and deaths.
