Troops of the One Merchandised division of the Nigerian army, will not be leaving the trouble spots in Southern Kaduna anytime soon.
This assurance was given by the General Officer Commanding the division, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade, during a visit to Goska, Kafanchan and other villages in the area.
General Oyebade said until peace returned to the region, troops would remain in the area.
He also denied allegations that troops failed to respond when the killings began, adding that the solution to the situation in Southern Kaduna lies with the political class.
