The Aare Ona-Kakanfo of Yoruba-land, Gani Adams, has called on state Houses of Assembly in the southwest to expedite action on the formulation of a legal framework for the regional security network codenamed Operation Amotekun.
He stated this in Osogbo at the southwest Security Stakeholders meeting aimed at developing strategies to tackle Security threats in the Southwest region.
The event brings together members of local Security Groups in Osun State including Vigilante, Hunters Association, Agbekoya and Oodua People’s
Congress. It was convened by the Aare Ona-Kakanfo of Yoruba land.
Leaders of various local Security Groups declared support for security Programmes of Governments in the region.
