A Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre has called for presidential assent to the Corporate and Allied Matters Act of 2017.
It said the move will help boost the fight against corruption.
The group believes this will reassure Nigerians that government is playing its part in tackling corruption by blocking all available channels to the trend.
The CAMA bill allows anti-graft agencies detect and stop corruption, identify persons and companies involved in it, and limits their ability to hide the proceeds in companies registered in Nigeria and other jurisdictions.
