Lagos Taskforce Raids Dark Spots In Ikeja, Environs

The Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit Wednesday night visited Street traders at the Ikeja area of Lagos.

Those doing business opposite the airport Hotel weren’t ready for what hit them as the enforcement team arrived the area at about past 8pm.

The traders had already displayed their food and drinks ready for their customers when the officers arrived the scene.

The streets cleared are Johnson, Alade avenue and Orise Street all opposite Airport Hotel.

The Chairman of the Taskforce team said they’ll continue paying unscheduled visits to such areas where Street trading is taking place.
