In this latest disbursement, 5,200 women from across the state’s 44 local government areas received N50,000 each.
Each month, 100 women from 36 local government areas outside the metropolis and 200 women from the eight metropolitan local government areas are selected to benefit from the initiative.
Speaking to the beneficiaries at the government house, Governor Yusuf emphasized that the initiative aims to ensure women become self-reliant and independent by providing financial support for trade and skill acquisition.
